Off-Site Solar Generation/Wheeling

Energy wheeling are agreements through which off-site (i.e. not on client sites) renewable energy generation is credited to the electricity account of a user. (E.g. solar energy generated in the Northern Cape can be credited to a user in Gauteng.) Energy wheeling is not the physical transportation of energy and does not act as any guard to load shedding.

Once On-Site Solar Generation potential is optimised, clients can gain further renewable penetration/decarbonisation and savings through wheeling. We offer flexible wheeling contract terms, ranging from 5 to 20 years, with significant utility-scale projects ready to deliver wind and solar power.
